The police registered a complaint file at the Area Police Office Lahan against 21-year-old Ramrijhan Yadav of Laxmipur Patari Rural Municipality-6 on the charge of attempted rape of a 21-year-old woman.
The victim filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Lahan on November 30 alleging that the accused tried to rape the woman on November 17.
The health examination of the victim was done on November 30 at Lahan Provincial Hospital.
According to DSP Bholakumar Bhatt of the Area Police Office Lahan, a complaint has been registered, and a search is underway as the accused is currently absconding.
