A formal complaint was lodged at the District Police Office on November 8 against Shukrajung Sunar, a 35-year-old individual from Byas Municipality-9, for misconduct towards Mohan Bk, a 32-year-old agricultural technician from the same municipality on November 7.
The victim, Mohan Bk, reported that he was subjected to physical assault by Shukrajung Sunar at Dandachaur while on the way to Ward No. 9 for the distribution of subsidized potato seeds by Byas Municipality for local farmers.
BK mentioned that his assignment in the area was in response to the farmers’ requests made through various Village Development Organizations in Ward No. 7 and 9 of Byas Municipality for the distribution of potato seeds.
He expressed that his professional and physical safety was compromised, leading to a decline in morale, and hence, he filed a complaint seeking punishment for the accused.
Inspector Mohan Khadka from the case branch of the district police office stated that the process of taking action has been initiated.
