Accused Of Trafficking Arrested 

Police apprehended Jibraj Tamang, a 26-year-old Police Constable employed at Tribhuvan International Airport, on October 29 for the charges of trafficking individuals with fake documents and facilitating their travel on visit visas to Gulf nations, including Dubai.

According to SP Rabidra Regmi of the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Tamang was arrested after it was found that he was involved in sending Nepalese citizens abroad on visit visas by creating fake documents in collaboration with a human trafficking gang.

SP Regmi informed INSEC that Tamang was working at Tribhuvan International Airport for the past three years. He disclosed that the accused, who was apprehended on October 30, was granted a five-day extension by the Kathmandu District Court for continued investigation.
