Child Rescued From India

A 13-year-old boy who was in employed in a hazardous job was rescued from  India and handed over to his family on August 21.

13-year-old Azhar Muslim, resident of Mayadevi Rural Municipality-2, was rescued from Gonda, India on August 19, according to Shanti Poonar Sthapana Home Kapilvastu.

After the child went missing from home, the child’s relatives requested various organizations including police, administration and other organizations working against human trafficking and trafficking to be found.

The coordinator of the home, Basanti G.C, informed that Shanti Poonar Sthapana Home Kapilvastu was handed over to the family through the police in coordination with the Nepali Embassy in India and Help Cross Trust Dehradun and the coordination of Children’s Home India.

DSP Meen Bahadur Ghale of the District Police Office said that an investigation is underway on how the child reached India.
