Police have arrested 45-year-old Lekhnath Paudel and 30-year-old Bhuwan Pandey of Shivraj Municipality-5 on August 6 on the charge of attempted rape of a 43-year-old woman.
On July 29, the victim party filed a complaint at the Ward police office, Chandrauta, saying that the accused tried to rape the victim on July 28.
DSP Min Bahadur Ghale from the District Police Office stated that the police arrested the two suspects who had fled following the incident.
The health examination of the victim was conducted at Shivraj Hospital in Bhairahawa on July 30.
