Agreement between CTEVT and INSEC for Human Rights Training

An Agreement for Human Rights Education Training between INSEC and Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) was signed on August 4.

The agreement was signed by Vice Chairman Khagendra Prasad Adhikari on behalf of CTEVT, and Chairperson Dr. Kundan Aryal on behalf of INSEC.

Khagendra Prasad Adhikari, the Vice Chairman of CTEVT, stated that the signing of this memorandum takes into account the requirement for providing technical and vocational training concerning human rights and social justice. He also mentioned that he would commence this initiative by initially serving as a guest lecturer on human rights in some schools.

Following this agreement, the path of collaboration has been paved for both parties, allowing for joint efforts in the advancement of human rights programs, capacity enhancement, research initiatives, seminars, workshops, and addressing other pertinent issues, as stated by Dr. Kundan Aryal. He stated that the initiatives of CTEVT and INSEC have advanced in generating skilled workforce starting from this fiscal year.
INSEC is a civic organization that has been working on human rights issues for the past three decades, while CTEVT is a government entity that has been involved in producing skilled manpower through the operation of technical and vocational education.
