On August 2, the police arrested 20-year-old Manoj Shashankar of Belaka Municipality-1 on allegations of raping an 18-year-old woman.
The victim’s sister filed a complaint at the district police office on August 2, alleging that the accused had raped the victim on July 31.
Inspector Subash Khanal of Rampur Police Office mentioned that the accused was arrested based on the complaint filed by the victim’s side for further investigation.
The health examination of the victim was conducted at the District Hospital on August 2.
