On July 28, the Kalyanpur Area Police Office of Shambhunath Municipality-7, Bhagawatpur, lodged a complaint against Prasad Sada, a 20-year-old, for the alleged rape of a 17-year-old girl with a disability.
As per the information provided by the Saptari District Police Office, a complaint lodged by the victim’s father has been officially recorded, alleging that the accused took the victim under control and raped her on July 26.
The victim’s medical examination was conducted at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital on July 27.
The police have informed that the accused is currently on the run after the incident, and they are conducting a search operation to apprehend him. A warrant for the arrest of the accused was issued on July 28.
