Following a week-long visit by the employees of Tarakhola Rural Municipality, the public have been unable to receive the services they should have obtained from the Rural Municipality.
On July 24, Tulsiram Gharti from Tarakhola Rural Municipality-2 visited the rural municipality office to request the return of the deposit by the rural municipality.
Gharti states that he visited the village office three times for the deposit, but on all three occasions, no officers were present.
For the past one week, the service users coming to the rural municipality to avail services have been experiencing hardships. Due to the official visit of 10 officers, including administrative officers, chief accountants, ward secretaries, and heads of various departments of the rural municipality, the service recipients have been unable to receive the services they were supposed to get from the rural municipality.
As per the statement of the Acting Chairperson Gaurimaya Gurung, since the Ward Secretary went on an observational tour on July 19, the Deputy Secretary had to take on the responsibilities of the Ward Secretary with the help of the Office Assistant.
