Law enforcement officials have taken Mr. Makar Bahadur Tamang, a 35-year-old resident of Tapli Rural Municipality-3, Dagale, into custody on June 2nd, following allegations of sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl. The victim reported the incident to the Rampur police station on June 28th, claiming that the accused had committed the act on the same day.
Prompted by the victim’s complaint, the police arrested Mr. Tamang for the purpose of conducting a thorough investigation. Subsequently, on June 28th, the victim underwent a comprehensive medical examination at the district hospital.
