Judge Ishwar Parajuli’s court handed down a sentence of 32 years in prison to a 64-year-old man from Mustang, on June 26. The conviction stemmed from the heinous crime of raping a 10-year-old girl. In addition to the custodial sentence, the accused individual was also fined Rs. 700,000.
The complaint was lodged by the aggrieved party at the District Police Office on October 29, 2022. The complainant alleged that the accused had repeatedly subjected the victim to rape between October 19 and October 22.
Subsequently, the police promptly arrested the accused on the same day, October 29, 2022, based on the complaint.
To gather evidence and ascertain the extent of the victim’s injuries, a health examination was conducted on October 29 at the District Hospital in Mustang.
