The police arrested Ramnarayan Chaudhary, 35, of Lumbini Cultural Napa-10 Mailawar on June 24, 2023, on the charge of attempted rape of a 34-year-old woman.
The victim filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Rupandehi on June 23, saying that the accused attempted to rape the victim on March 12, 2023.
DSP Shyamu Aryal of the District Police Office said that the action was taken based on the complaint.
The medical examination of the victim was conducted on June 20 at Bhim Hospital, Bhairahawa.
