The district court has sentenced a 16-year-old boy to two years and four months of imprisonment for the crime of rape of a 38-year-old woman.
Registrar of District Court Ram Bahadur Kuwar, informed that the bench of Judge Basantaraj Paudel of District Court on June 19, 2023, found the boy guilty.
The victim filed a complaint at the district police office on August 6, 2022, stating accused of rape of the victim on August 5, 2022.
The police arrested the accused on August 6, 2022, and produced him in the district court on August 26, 2022. The health examination of the victim was done at Gulmi Hospital Tamghas on August 6.
