Radhika Tharu, 38, Basangdi Municipality-8, Kakaura, filed a complaint against her brother-in-law, Milan Tharu, 33, on June 17, 2023, at the local police office, Motipur, for attempting to kill her.
Dipendra Tharu, kin of the victim, said that the accused beat up the victim following a domestic dispute and tried to kill her using a sharp weapon. The attack resulted in serious injury to the victim’s head, arms, and back. The victim was provided first aid treatment at Kaushilya Hospital on July 17, the injured is being treated at Nepalgunj Western Hospital.
Sai Gagan Giri of the Area Police Office, Motipur informed that the accused is on the loose and the search is going on.
