Court Information Officer Bharatmani Pokharel, District court on June 5, 2023, has adjourned the case against Rajesh Sardar, 22, of Kanchanrup Municipality-5 Pipra East, accused of attempted rape of a 24-year-old woman. The decision was taken by District Judge Hark Bahadur Chhetri.
The victim complained to the Local Police Office on October 6, 2021, saying that the accused attempted to rape her on September 13, 2021.
The medical examination of the victim was conducted at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital Rajviraj on October 6, 2021. An arrest warrant was issued against the accused on December 14, 2021. The absconded accused has not been arrested yet. A charge sheet was filed against the accused in the District Court on September 2022.
