The court, on May 18, 2023, decided to adjourn the case against, Navin Kumar, 40 Yadav, Pappu Rai, 37, Pramod Rai, 42, and Mahesh Sahni, 36 of Balra Municipality-4, who are absconding after a charge of rape a 34-year-old woman.
According to Registrar, Bishwanath Aryal, the bench of District Judge Kavi Prasad Neupane adjourned the case filed in the District Court on April 24, 2022.
The victim filed a complaint at the District Police Office Malangwa on April 15, 2022, alleging the accused of rape on March 30, 2022. The district police office registered a complaint on April 19, 2022. Sai Rampravesh Yadav of the Local Police Office informed that the accused absconded after the incident.
The victim underwent a health examination, on April 20, 2022, at District Hospital Malangwa.
