Police arrested a 16-year-old boy from his home on the charge of rape of a 19-year-old girl on May 3, 2020.
The aggrieved party filed a case at the Area Police Office, Tulshipur on April 28, 2023, accusing the boy of the rape of the victim under the pretext of a promise of marriage on May 2, 2023.
According to Pushparaj Malla, DSP of Tulsipur Area Police, the police arrested the accused for further investigation.
A health examination of the victim was done on May 2, 2023, in Rapti Provisional Hospital, Tulsipur.
