A complaint has been lodged against Principal Hikmat Rayamajhi, in the Education Department of Kathmandu Metropolitan City on the allegation of beating up a fifth grade student studying at Clinton School located in Chabahill.
Ram Prasad Subedi, Head of the Education Department of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, informed that the student’s guardian had filed a complaint at the education department alleging that the principal of the school had beaten up the student for changing the school.
Subedi mentioned that the Principal will be asked for clarification and required action will be taken against him based on the complaint filed.
In a phone conversation with INSEC representative, Principal Hikmat Rayamajhi admitted that he slapped the student on the cheek after protecting him from the fight.
Rayamazhi said that the incident has been reconciled in the Police Circle Gaushala.
