Police arrested Kamal Bahadur Oli, 44, of Babai Rural Municipality-4, on 15 March on the charge of raping a 57-year-old woman.
The victim filed a complaint on 14 March, at the Tulsipur Area Police office alleging that Oli raped her on 18 February while she was sleeping at home.
DSP Pushparaj Malla of the Local Police Office informed that the accused was arrested based on the complaint, and an investigation is ongoing.
The health examination of the victim was done on 14 March at Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur.
