A complaint has been filed at the District Police Office against Ram Purak Yadav, 32, of Parsa Rural Municipality-3, Narayanpur on 12 March in the charge of rape of a 17-year-old girl.
Father of the victim had filed a complaint at the District Police Office alleging that the accused raped the child on 5 March 2023.
DSP Kailash Rai informed that accused Yadav absconded following the incident and the search operation is ongoing.
Medical examination of the victim was conducted at Sarlahi District Hospital, Malangwa on 12 March.
