Police has arrested Dilip Sah, 20, nephew of the victim, in the charge of killing Kabita Devi, 30, of Bideha Municipality-7, Belapatti, inflicting an electric shock on December 25.
In the process of inflicting electric current, 14-month son of the deceased has been injured. Shreeram Sah, father of the injured informed that the injured child is being treated in the Kavya hospital of Janakpur since December 25. Postmortem of the body was conducted at Janakpur Provincial hospital on December 26.
Complaint filed by Shreeram Sah, husband of the deceased on Decemver 26 for the investigation of the case has been registered.
According to Pradip Bahadur Chhetri, DSP of district police office team of expert who went to the crime scene noted injuries in the face of the deceased and a half naked body covered with blood. Police has suspected Dilip Sah, nephew of the victim to be the perpetrator.
Small scratches have been recorded in the neck and finger of the accused Dilip Sah. Pradip Bahadur Chhetri, DSP of district police office informed that the mobile phone of the deceased has been found in the underware of Dilip Sah and blood stains were recorded in Dilip’s pant and tshirt.
District Police Office, Dhanusha has informed that a case of intentional homicide has been registered and the case is under investigation.
