Kamal Bahadur Tamang, 72, of Sunapati Rural Municipality-5 filed a complaint at Lubhu police station against Thulo Kancha Tamang, 50, Chairperson of Sunapati Rural Municipality on December 19 in the charge of beating him.
Victim has alleged that the Chairperson Tamang beat him after consuming alcohol on December 14, 2022.
Locals had stopped the Chairperson when he went to beat the victim inside his home.
Chairperson Tamang went to Kathamandu after the incident and hadn’t come back till December 18.
According to the victim Kamal Bahadur, Assistant Sub Inspector of Lubhu Police Station, Indra Bahadur Budathoki has informed that a discussion will be conducted including both the parties.
