The District Court has ordered nine years’ imprisonment to Krishna Pariyar, 52, for sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl.
The single bench of Judge Nanda Kishore Prasad Yadav declared him guilty and gave the verdict on July 12. Along with the imprisonment, the accused has also been charged NPR 50,000 as compensation, informed Shrestedar Mahendra Prasad Paudel.
The victim was raped on March 23, 2020, and the complaint was filed at the District Police Office Nawalparasi on March 26, 2020.
Pariyar was arrested on March 27, 2020. The health checkup of the victim was conducted on March 26 at the District Hospital, Chitwan.
