The team of District Police Office, Myagdi arrested Bhakte Damai, 62, of Beni Municipality-9, Ghatan on May 29, 2022, on the charge of raping a 37-year-old woman. The victim was raped on May 28.
Inspector Rajan Dhakal of the District Police Office, Myagdi informed that the accused was arrested from his house on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim against the accused on May 29.
Medical Superintendent of Beni Hospital Jitendra Kandel informed the INSEC representative that the health examination of the victim was conducted at Beni Hospital on May 29.
