Police have arrested Jageshwor Thakur, 21, of Surunga Municipality-7, Haripur on May 24, 2022, on the charge of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl.
The accused, who has been absconding since the Saptari District Court issued the arrest warrant on December 9, 2021, has been arrested from the village informed the Police.
The victim’s mother had lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office Kadarbona on December 8 alleging that the accused had sexually abused the girl on November 30.
The girl was examined at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj on December 8.
