Sita Patel, 28, of Birgunj Metropolitan City-13, Shreepur Tole was injured after the acid attack by her father-in-law Hawari Sah, 50, and brother-in-law Rambabu Sah, 32, on March 25, 2022. The accused duo was on a motorbike and had attacked her while she was going to her parent’s house.
According to the victim, the two accused had attacked the victim while she was arguing over domestic issues.
Due to the acid attack, the victim’s face, chest and limbs were burnt.
The injured woman is undergoing treatment at Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital, Birgunj, informed Medical Superintendent Dr. Gaurab Mahato.
The family of the victim have lodged a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office, Bara on March 25.
