Police have arrested Chandre Sarki, 47, of Musikot Municipality-8 on November 12, 2021, on the charge of raping a 31-year-old woman.
According to DSP Purushottam Pandeya of District Police Office, Gulmi, the victim was raped on September 2, 2021, and the accused had absconded after the incident
The victim’s family had lodged a complaint at the District Police Office, Gulmi on September 6, 2021.
According to DSP Pandeya, the accused was arrested while he was hiding near his house. He was arrested after two months.
The victim was examined at Gulmi Hospital on September 6.
