Police have arrested cadres of ANNFSU on August 31, 2021, on the accusation of misbehaving with Dr. Binod Singh, 52, of Rapti Provincial Hospital. The arrested cadres are ANNFSU Dang District Coordinator Sarjan Pariyar, 27, Dibas Chhetri, 26, Deputy Coordinator and member Dilli Dangi, 24. Dangi was arrested on August 30.
DSP Mukunda Rijal told INSEC that the accused group had rubbed soot on his face on August 27 and misbehaved with him. The victim had filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Tulsipur on August 27.
The accused had done so saying that the service of blood culture was not provided to the patients of typhoid in the hospital.
Doctors and health workers of the Association of Doctors, Dang, Rapti Provincial Hospital Tulsipur, Rapti Health Sciences Academy Ghorahi and other health institutions had stopped all services except emergency, obstetrics and dialysis services after the incident.
