A complaint was filed at the Area Police Office against a 40-year-old relative on May 22, 2021, on the charge of raping a 16-year-old girl.
According to Inspector Amrit Bhandari, the victim had lodged a complaint alleging that the accused had repeatedly raped her. Bhandari said that a search was on for the accused as he was absconding.
The victim underwent a medical examination at Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal on April 29.
