Accused of Murder Arrested

Police have arrested Mohan Rajbhandari, 48, on the charge of killing Roshani Rajbhandari, 48, of Bulbule Marg, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-10 on April 17.

According to SSP Ashok Singh of the Metropolitan Police Complex, the initial investigation showed that the brother-in-law was chasing his brother-in-law near his house due to a family reunion.

Mohan was arrested by the police after the accused himself appeared at the Metropolitan Police Complex, Teku, alleging that he had killed his brother-in-law.

Roshni, who was critically injured after being hit by an iron rod, was rushed to a trauma center by her relatives for treatment. Doctors confirmed that he died at 8 pm on the same day.

The postmortem of the body has been done at the TRI Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj on April 18.

According to SSP Singh, Mohan, accused in the murder case, has been kept in custody and further investigation is underway.
