Police have arrested 22-year-old Geeta Kunwar Sunar, a resident of Dhorpatan Municipality-3, Baglung and now living in Annapurna Municipality-2, Naudanda, on the charge of killing a newborn baby.
The infant was killed on April 1, 2021. According to DSP Subash Hamal of the District Police Office, the accused was arrested on the same day on a charge of killing his own 42-day-old baby.
The postmortem of the body has been done at the Western Regional Hospital on April 2.
