Police have arrested Nandita Saawa Limbu, 38, of Chulachuli rural Municipality-4, Ilam and Urmila Nemwang, 38, of Morang, Pathari Shanischare Municipality-3 on charges of renting a house in Damak Municipality-6 and forcing girls into prostitution.
According to DSP Rakesh Thapa of the District Police Office, Jhapa, the accused were arrested from Damak Municipality-6 on March 28 for investigation after locals informed them that they had rented a house and used it for prostitution.
According to DSP Thapa, a 17-year-old girl and a 39-year-old woman were rescued from the rented house.
