Netra Prasad Adhikari, 30, of Bhagwati Rural Municipality-1, Pagnath has been arrested by the police on March 25 for sexually abusing an 18-year-old girl.
He was arrested on the basis of information that he was hiding in the village, said Inspector Indrajit Sunar, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Dailekh.
The victim had lodged a complaint at the District Police Office, Dailekh on March 20 alleging that the accused had abused the girl at her house on March 20 under the pretext of charging her mobile phone.
The victim underwent a medical examination at Dailekh Hospital on March 20.
