A complaint has been lodged against the 34-year-old husband of Gadhi Rural Municipality-4 on March 25 for raping his wife.
According to DSP Narendra Kumar Karki of the District Police Office, the victim had lodged a complaint against her husband on January 5 alleging that the accused had raped her.
DSP Karki said that the accused had absconded immediately after the complaint of the victim and a search was on for the absconding accused.
The victim has been examined at the District Hospital on March 25.
