Police have arrested Lekhnath Rijal, 40, of Belwari Municipality-2 on January 5 on charges of sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl.
The victim had lodged a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Belwari on January 4 accusing him of sexually abusing the girl.
Inspector Rishi Raj Dhakal of the Area Police Office Belwari said that the accused was arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim.
The girl has been examined at Koshi Hospital on January 4.
