Police have arrested a 13-year-old boy on November 30 on the charge of raping a five-year-old girl.
The father of the victim told the INSEC representative that there was a problem in filing a complaint due to poor financial condition. He also said that the victims were threatening and pressuring him not to file a complaint about the incident.
Inspector Laxman Oli informed that a complaint was lodged at the District Police Office on November 30 after Race Nepal, which has been operating safe houses in the district including INSEC, arranged for the victim to file a complaint free of cost.
The health check-up of the victim was conducted at the Health Service Office, Salyan on November 30, said Health Service Office, Chief Dasharath Shrestha.
