Kavre, November 23, 2020Police have arrested Pradip Bhujel, 30, of Bhumlu Rural Municipality-7 on November 20 on the charge of sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl.
It is alleged that the accused had stabbed her sensitive body parts in the forest and abused her at night while she was returning home from her maternal uncle’s house on November 19.
According to Inspector Govinda Adhikari of the District Police Office, the accused was arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim’s relatives at Police Station of Phalante on November 20.
The girl has been taken to Dhulikhel Hospital for medical examination on November 20.
Inspector Adhikari informed that the accused was produced in the district court on November 22 and a case was registered against him for attempted rape.
