Police have arrested Sovindra Ram of Kanchanrup Municipality-4 on November 12 on the charge of raping a 35-year-old woman.
The victim has alleged that the accused raped the victim on November 5. The victim has been examined at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj on November 6.
According to DSP Naresh Kumar Singh, the complaint was lodged by the Area Police Office, Kanchanrup on November 6.
