Police have arrested Nunu Mandal, 22, of Mahadeva Rural Municipality-6 on November 4 for raping a 26-year-old woman.
SP Rajendra Prasad Dhamala of the District Police Office told INSEC representative that the accused Mandal was arrested on the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim.
The victim had lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on November 1 alleging that Pappu Mandal, 21, and Anil Mandal, 30, along with Nunu Mandal of the same place had raped her in the mango orchard of Satain Mandal on November 2.
The victim has been examined at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj on November 2.
