Police have arrested Padma Bahadur Khadayat, 35, of Alital Rural Municipality-5 on October 9 on the charge of attempting to rape a 23-year-old woman.
The victim had lodged a complaint against the accused at the Alital Police Station on October 9 alleging that the accused had attempted to rape the victim.
According to DSP Mahendra Nepal of the District Police Office, the accused had given verbal information to the police at Alital on the night of October 9 and the police team arrested the accused.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted on October 10 at Jogbudha Hospital.
