Police have arrested Bishnumaya Shahi, 35, manager of Shahi Hotel August 16 on a charge of discriminating Dhankanni Sarki, 39, of Tripura Sundari Municipality-1.
The accused was arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim at the Tripurakot police station on A, informed SI Indra Bahadur Rai of Tripurakot police station.
The victim told INSEC representative that the accused Shahi had insulted her at a public place on August 15. The accused had instructed the victim not to touch the kitchen of a hotel near the gate of the municipal office.
