INSEC Nepalgunj, Nepalgunj Medical College’s Dr Suresh Kanodiya and Mittal Rice and Oil Mill have provided food aid to those who are facing food shortage in Rapti Sonari Rural Municipality-4 on May 2, 2020.
After Rapti Sonari Municipality requested INSEC for assistance, food items worth Rs. 73,200 was distributed to 126 households of Nakabasti Gurdan Gauri, Maheshpur, Chunbhatti, Baskholi, Masmani, Khairbhatti Tole of the municipality.
INSEC Banke District Facilitator Laxmi Chaudhary said that a team led by the ward chairperson, ward members, human rights group coordinator Dhani Oli, Corona Prevention Volunteers and others went to the village and distributed the food.
Chairperson Kancha Tharu thanked INSEC and Dr. Kanodiya.
