District Court has declared 1.5 years imprisonment to Khusiman Gurung (35) of Marsyandgdi Rural Municipality-3 for attempting to rape a 19-year-old. The bench of Justice Hari Chandra Dhungana declared this on 11 March 2020. The guilty was also charged compensation of Rs. 35,000 and fine of Rs. 15,000.
Gurung had tried to rape the girl on 29 May 2019 and the complaint was filed on 31 May 2019 at the District Police Office. Gurung was arrested on the 31 May 2019.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted on 31 May 2019 at the District Community Hospital.
