District court of Myagdi slammed two years and six months’ imprisonment to Ramesh Kumar Pun aka Jagat B.K,48, of Malika Rural Municipality-8 Okharbot for raping a 32 years old women. Judge Madhavendra Raj Regmi sentenced the accused on 14 January, informed Shrestedar Khil Prasad Burlakoti.
B.K raped the victim on 24 July. Victim filed a complaint on 27 July at the District Police Office. The arrest warrant was released against him on 22 October and he was arrested on 2 November 2019 from Pokhara. He was kept at the judicial custody for further investigation on 27 November. The victim’s health checkup was conducted on 27 July.
