The students at Ghanchakre Elementary School in Triyuga Municipality-6 is closed from June 4 till June 10 after the after the students started to show un usual behavior such as fainting, crying, screaming, and shivering according to the principal Netra Kaphle of the school.
The school was closed for the treatment of students after the health professionals requested to close the school for some time.
Students Shakuntala Tamang, 6 of standard 2, 10 years old Tika Kumarii Tamang of standard 10 including many others were showing unusual activities during the class was operating.
Dr Ashok Tiwari of District Hospital said that the reason behind this might be the tension. The symptom is seen in many students at the same time so this might be Disorder Mass Hysteria.
Dr Tiwari said that students might have felt tension of home work and studies and due to the lack of management in such issue the illness developed.
