Victim’s party accused police of not registering complaint

The victim’s party have sought for the support from the human rights activists and INSEC district representative Narayan Bhushal on June 2 after the police have denied registering the complaint of  killing.

The victim’s party said that on May 26 the victim’s father Kashi Raj KC went to the local hotel after getting the information that his son Bikram KC, 33 of Sandhikharka Municipality-12 was seriously ill after consuming alcohol. He was bleeding from the mounth and was taken to District Hospital for the treatment. The victim’s family is saying that the incident is very suspicious and have lodged complaint at police office for the investigation however police denied of registering the complaint.

The victim’s party said that police denied of registering the complaint even the family lodged FIR. The victim died while undergoing treatment at provincial hospital of Butwal and postmortem of the body was conducted at the same hospital.

Inspector Gambhir Jung Thapa however said that the incident is under the investigation and legal procedure will be processed soon.
