The District Court of Palpa has ordered to sentence 23 years old Himal Pachbhaiya of Ribdikot Rural Municipality ward no.7 for three and half years after finding him guilty on attempting to rape 39 years old woman.
A single bench of District Court judge Shanker Baral had given the verdict regarding the case.
The victim was attempted to rape by the convict Pachbhaiya on August 31 and complaint against him was lodged at police office by the victim on September 1.
The convict was arrested by the police on a same day for the investigation.
