Police have arrested 71 years old senior citizen on April 17 on charge of raping 17 years old girl.
The accused is a close acquaintance of the victim was involved in raping the girl for the past six months according to victim’s party. A complaint was lodged by the victim’s family at District Police Office of Syangja and was arrested based on a complaint lodged on April 16 according to the police.
The victim underwent health checkup at District Hospital on April 16 according to the police.
