Police have arrested 19 years old Sunil Tamang of Bharatpur Metropolis ward number 22 Patihani on March 22 on charge of raping 13 years old girl.
The victim’s mother lodged complaint at District Police Office against the accused on March 21 accusing him of luring the girl for marriage before raping her.
He was arrested based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s mother according to DSP Durga Raj Regmi of DPO.
The victim underwent health checkup at Bharatpur Hospital on March 21.
