Police have arrested four people on March 23 on charge of gang raping 14 years old girl of Mandandeupur Municipality-6 on March 16 in the bank of Indrawati river. They are taken into custody for investigation according to police.
The arrested were 21 years old Prakash Rai of Mandandeupur Municipality-6, 23 years old Pushkar Rai of the same place, 21 years old Ram Kumar Rai and 22 years old Suni Danuwar of Mandandeupur-7.
The team of police from District Police Office arrested three of the accused on March 18 and other one on March 23.
The victim’s father had lodged complaint at DPO Dhulikhel on March 19 and she underwent health checkup at Dhulikhel hospital on March 19. The absconding accused were arrested for investigation according to DSP Deepak Giri of DPO.
